Our Story
” Before we can cultivate a garden in the earth at large, we must give the soil of our own hearts and minds to life, so that the feelings and thoughts which grow there may reflect life’s own creative nature. As this happens, we will naturally think and feel and act in ways which are life giving, which will always bless the earth and the life appearing on it, never harm or disrupt it. ….it becomes natural to adopt an attitude of thankfulness, or gladness if you will, and to maintain it all the time….By doing this, we maintain our consciousness of the surpassing love and joy which is at the heart of all life, and which we see revealed in nature. At last we may discover ourselves to be part of a great, integrated body, humankind, living in its rightful place, at home in the earth, performing the work that is ours to do. Then our world will bloom with a richness and delicacy that will by far outshine even its present beauty. Peter Bloch-Hansen, Biodynamic Farmer, Biodynamic Magazine Spring 1977 “
Part of our food forest the Hawthorns are standing out with their beautiful flowers and red berries. They add richness , food for birds and bees and medicine for humans.
Why I farm
There is nothing more gratifying then growing your own food, medicine and connecting to the soil and plants through direct experience.
I am learning everything is connected; symbiosis, synergy, cooperation are key in Nature’s success. I imagine a future where we model these concepts to create a thriving world.
Being a small farm is not limiting but very rewarding and resourceful.
The image that comes to me when I think of small farms is that of a fractal.
We, as small farmers , create the bigger picture.

It all started with discovering the abundance of healing weeds growing on my very small farm and the desire to heal an old, fungus ridden pear orchard. Almost two decades of dreaming, learning, practicing biodynamic farming, growing and listening to Earth’s voice brought me to this glorious moment.
Combining Biodynamic Farming and Permaculture I work to create a thriving environment, refuge to pollinators and native plants. On my almost two acre farm I grow herbs, fruits, berries, flowers . In small quantities I offer eggs and honey, my own handcrafted herbal tisanes, tinctures, balms and flower essences for humans and equine friends. I also make and sell compost.
My inspiration is the beauty and healing power of Nature, my animals and the abundance of "weeds" which truly taught me the meaning of the word "Coexist".
I believe pesticide free is better . What we put in the soil, air and water ultimately ends up on our plate. More then ever we need to consider how our actions affects life around us. We depend on the pollinators, healthy soil bacteria and fungi, a whole world of microbes and more.
Everything I do on the farm holds my consideration for the future generations.
I hope to inspire, create community and delight with my offerings.
